Good Works Prepared For Us In Christ

When we are called to do a work for the Lord, we are to act and proceed according to the pattern He shows us on the Mountain

Exodus 25:40

And look that thou make them after their pattern, which was shewed thee in the mount.

Let’s draw close to the Lord so that we can hear His voice. This way He will show us the pattern on the mountain and will also provide instructions, strength, guidance and support for the execution of His plans for the glory of His name.

Being close to Yeshua gives us confirmation and sets us free to work with all our might, in the knowledge that we are working for the Lord.

Ecclesiastes 9:10

Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.

2 Corinthians 3:17

Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

Let’s do everything by faith for there is no condemnation to those who walk in the Spirit.

Romans 14:23

And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

Romans 8:1

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Our lives are hidden in Christ

In seeking Him and knowing Him, His plan for our life is revealed to us in His own time and in HIs perfect counsel. Let’s move forward to perfection for He has given us a body that we may perform the Works He has prepared for us in Christ before the foundation of the world for the glory of His name.

Let’s live by His Grace while walking in the Spirit; giving praise and thanks to the Lord while praying without ceasing and being in communion with our Lord Yeshua; thereby fulfilling His purpose for us to proclaim and lift up His name that others may be drawn to Him.

We are not called into our own works but into the works that He has prepared for us

Knowing that the Lord has prepared good works for us that we may walk in them causes us to seek that we may find, to knock that it may be opened to us and to ask that we may receive.

Ephesians 2:10

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Hebrews 4:9-11 (KJV)

9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. 10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

I run the race, fight the good fight and climb the mountain because I long to be with the Lord and I desire that He show me the pattern that I may be confident to do the work with all my might. By faith I strive to enter into His rest.

Psalms 37:4

Delight thyself also in the LORD;

and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

Anything that is done in doubt and uncertainty is sin. (Romans 14:23)

We should be confident in our calling. (2 Timothy 1:12) Our heart is His and His heart is ours for He has written His laws on the tablets of the new heart of flesh that He has given us. (Jeremiah 31:33)

Therefore there is no place for doubt and fear. We have not received a spirit of fear but of power, love and peace and a sound mind for we have the mind of Christ.

2 Timothy 1:7

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Romans 8:15

For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

1 Corinthians 2:16

For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

We are encouraged to keep our eyes on the Lord. There are times we need to be still and there are times we need to move. So whether we sit, walk or run, we act at all times by faith according to the Lord’s direction.

Psalms 46:10

Be still, and know that I am God:

I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

Exodus 40:36-37

36 And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward in all their journeys:

37 But if the cloud were not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up.

Rising up to be with the Lord

Look to the ant you lazy one. (Proverbs 6:6)

He who is slack in his work is brother to a great destroyer. (Proverbs 18:9)

A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep and your poverty shall come upon you. (Proverbs 6:10; 24:33)

The lazy man says “there’s a lion outside” (Proverbs 22:13; Proverbs 26:13) and He who watches the wind will not sow and he who looks at the clouds will not reap. (Ecclesiastes 11:4)

Let us put our hands to the plough and move forward with our eyes on the Lord Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. (Luke 9:62; Hebrews 12:2)

Let us rise to His upward calling. Let’s fight the good fight and run the race. Not as one who beats the air but as one who has been given a task. (1 Timothy 6:12; 1 Corinthians 9:24-26)

Let us build gold and precious stones (1 Corinthians 3:12) according to the pattern that has been given to us on the mountain (Exodus 25:40) and let us do the task that has been given to us with all our might (Ecclesiastes 9:10) working for the Lord who called us from darkness into His glorious light.(1 Peter 2:9)

Let’s work and build for the kingdom because as the body without the soul is dead so faith without works is dead. (James 2:14)

Let’s not be paralyzed out of fear that we will do something wrong that will displease the Lord. We have been forgiven and His truth has set us free. He who has died is not under the law; and we are dead to this world and raised in Yehsua in newness of life. There is no judgement and no condemnation to those who are forgiven and born again—to those who walk in the Spirit.

Let us keep our eyes on the Lord and walk in the works that He has prepared for us. (Ephesians 2:10)

Psalms 37:23-24 (KJV)

23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD:

and he delighteth in his way.

24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down:

for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.

Proverbs 19:21 (KJV)

21 There are many devices in a man's heart;

nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.

Proverbs 16:9 (KJV)

9 A man's heart deviseth his way:

but the LORD directeth his steps.

Proverbs 24:16 (KJV)

16 For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again:

but the wicked shall fall into mischief.

Proverbs 4:18 (KJV)

18 But the path of the just is as the shining light,

that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.

Let’s use the talents that He has given us. Let’s use our talents in this world for we are his stewards and his ambassadors here on earth

What is your stewardship?

Ephesians 4:11-16

11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

We are stewards of our body which is the Temple of God for the in dwelling of the Holy Spirit

We are stewards over our:

Families

Finances

Friends

Business or occupation

Time

Ministry

We are called to action

(Matthew 25:14-30) He sends us out into this dark world as sheep amongst wolves. Let’s be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. (Matthew 10:16) We have power. He who is in us is more powerful than He who is in this world. (1 John 4:4)

We are all His disciples

Your grace is sufficient and In my weakness Your strength is made perfect my Lord Yeshua.

Let’s focus on Yeshua while performing the works He has prepared for us before the foundation of the world.

Let's walk with the Lord by the guidance of the Holy Spirit lifting up and praising Yeshua the Lamb of God who gave Himself for the forgiveness of our sins. He is the first from the dead who was raised in Glory. He lives forevermore and is seated at the right hand of the Father on high making intercession for us and confessing us before God the Father until that blessed day when we will see Him face to face and we will know Him as we are known. Maranatha. Come Lord Jesus.
