Exodus 33:5-7 (KJV)
5 For the LORD had said unto Moses, Say unto the children of Israel, Ye are a stiff-necked people: I will come up into the midst of thee in a moment, and consume thee: therefore now put off thy ornaments from thee, that I may know what to do unto thee. 6 And the children of Israel stripped themselves of their ornaments by the mount Horeb. 7 And Moses took the tabernacle, and pitched it without the camp, afar off from the camp, and called it the Tabernacle of the congregation. And it came to pass, that every one which sought the LORD went out unto the tabernacle of the congregation, which was without the camp.
God has made a new covenant with the house of Judah and Israel and we gentiles who were once far off are now grafted in and are partakers of the promises and blessings of Israel because Jesus has torn down the wall of separation.
Now, we are a nation of kings and priests
God has taken out our stony heart and has given us a heart of flesh; and He has written His law on the tablets of our heart. He is in the midst of us. He is our God and we are His people. In fact, He dwells in our heart by His Holy Spirit and our body is The Temple of God. Who can bring any accusation against the elect of God. If God is with us, who can be against us.
Ezekiel 37:27-28 (KJV)
27 My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 28 And the heathen shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.
Revelation 21:3 (KJV)
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
Of course this prophecy will be further fulfilled in the Millennial Kingdom and fully fulfilled and completed when He creates the new heavens and the new earth.
We are partakers of His life and His promises only by partaking in His death. There is no other way
John 12:24 (KJV)
24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.
1 Corinthians 15:36 (KJV)
36 Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:
We have died and have risen with Him. If so, it is no longer us who live in the flesh—we are dead—but Christ who lives in us who has resurrected us to newness of life in Himself Godward.
He died once, never to die again, as have we. He is risen
Death has no power over Him. And we are in Him. We are crucified to this world and this world is crucified to us. We are risen with Him and death has no power over us. It is finished!!!
Jesus has nailed the handwriting of ordinances, which condemned us, to the cross
There is therefore no condemnation to us who walk in the Spirit, so let no one condemn us with regard to anything worldly, do not touch, do not taste, do not handle, because even if these things have an appearance of Holiness, they are not the substance, for these things perish with this world.
The substance is the Eternal Christ and our lives are hidden in Him until He is revealed. Then we will see Him face to face, we will know Him as we are known and we will reign with Him eternally.
Let’s trust the Lord and take Him at His Word. Let’s have confidence in our salvation, if we are truly born again and if the Spirit of Christ dwells in us.
If we are not born again and the Spirit of Christ does not dwell in us, then we have no part in Him
If we are indeed born again let us make our salvation sure and let each of us work out our own salvation in fear and trembling not giving heed to doctrines of men which seek to bind us once again under the yoke of the law.
For by faith we have received the Spirit and in faith we continue to walk in the Spirit having full confidence that He who began a good work in us is faithful and more than able to complete it until the day of His appearance to us who eagerly await Him.
You Must Be Born Again
There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. John 3:1-2
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
John 3:1-3
